Look for Common Language

If you are first year student, then it is possible to say that a big adventure is waiting for you. This adventure is called student’s life and it will last during four years f you are going to get Bachelor degree and more if you want Master degree. In any case, it is necessary to prepare to this adventure from the very beginning. If you will study at other city or state, then you will probably live at student residence. Living at such residence requires the art of diplomacy, because many interesting and unusual cases may happen. At this residence, you will meet many new people; some of them may become your friends while others may become your enemies. That is why try to be polite and do not have big enemies, because it may add you several unpleasant moments in your life.
Usually at least two students live at one room, so you will have to create friendly relationships with your roommate. If you manage to do it, then you can at least sleep at night without thoughts that your roommate can do some unpleasant thing for you.
As for relationships with other students from your group and your course, it is worth to find common language with the majority of them. In future, it will be useful for you.
